Find the CBD oil that fits your dog’s day.

Choosing CBD oil for dogs starts with more than the number on the bottle. Bailey’s offers Original, Calming, Hip & Joint and Extra Strength CBD & CBG formulas, each with a different purpose. Compare what’s in the oil, its concentration and its serving guide to choose for your dog’s routine.

Extra Strength 2:1 CBD & CBG Oil

Combines CBD and CBG in a 2:1 ratio. This more concentrated formula has its own serving guide; don’t assume the same number of drops applies when switching from another bottle.

Bottle size, concentration and serving size

The total milligrams printed on a bottle describe its contents, not a single serving. Bottle volume is measured in millilitres. Concentration tells you how much CBD—or CBD and CBG—is in a measured amount of oil.

The current Original, Calming and Hip & Joint oils list 10 mg CBD per mL. Extra Strength lists 20 mg CBD plus 10 mg CBG per mL. A larger bottle can hold more oil without being more concentrated. Use the guide for the specific formula to measure a serving. How long a bottle lasts depends on that serving and how often you use it; a one-month supply isn’t the same for every dog.

Every Bailey’s dog oil bottle includes weight-based guidance from Dr. Robert J. Silver, DVM. Use the guide for the specific formula in your hand, and discuss your dog’s routine with your veterinarian.

How to give CBD oil to your dog

Follow the product’s instructions for measuring the oil. Bailey’s Original dog oil can be mixed into food, which may suit a dog who prefers taking a serving with a meal. Check the directions for other formulas before using the same approach.

Keep the bottle in its labelled storage conditions and out of your dog’s reach. If you’re comparing a bundle, read the contents and the directions for each included product rather than treating the bundle as one serving.

Ingredients and testing you can check

Bailey’s dog oils are veterinarian-formulated, and product pages explain the ingredients and available options. For the Original oil, the bottle’s lot number and QR code provide a starting point for checking its lab information.

Review the report for the product and batch you’re buying. The cannabinoid profile and testing details are more useful than guessing from a general “hemp oil” description.

CBD oil questions from dog parents

How many drops should I give my dog?

Use the weight-based directions supplied with your specific Bailey’s oil. Drops from a more concentrated formula can contain a different amount of cannabinoids. Your vet can help if your dog takes medication or you’re changing products.

How long does CBD oil take to work?

There isn’t a guaranteed onset time or result for every dog. The formula, serving and individual dog all matter. Keep a record of what you give and any changes you notice, and ask your vet how to assess whether the routine is appropriate.

Can CBD oil treat anxiety, pain or a collapsed trachea?

Bailey’s oils are intended for wellness support, not to treat these conditions. Anxiety, pain, persistent coughing or breathing changes need veterinary assessment. Ask your vet about an appropriate care plan rather than using CBD in place of treatment.

Is a human CBD oil suitable for my dog?

Choose a product labelled for dogs and review its ingredients and serving directions. Human products can have different concentrations and added ingredients. A pet label is still a reason to read carefully, not a guarantee that a product is suitable for every dog.

Would a chew fit better?

If your dog enjoys a treat-style serving, compare the Calming, Hip & Joint and Omega Hemp CBD soft chews. Their formulas and directions differ from the oils.
